Did Connie Izay Have An Illness Or Health Problems?

She died in 1982, after a long battle with a debilitating illness acknowledged to be breast cancer, leaving behind her husband Victor Joseph Izay and three children.

It has not been made clear when she was diagnosed with cancer and how her life was affected by the disease. Ironically, she was a nurse, both in real life and on TV Series.

Although she started out as a nurse and anesthesiologist on Marcus Welby, she later played a dual role on M*A*S*H, serving as a technical consultant while also appearing in a few episodes.

Technical advisers were not given credit for their work on shows at the time. Alan Alda attempted to represent her but was unsuccessful.

Generally speaking, she ensured that everything went smoothly during surgery and afterward. Furthermore, she bandaged patients’ simulated wounds. Taking all this into account, she should have been given credit for her work.

Connie Izay Net Worth Disclosed

Multiple sources claim Connie Izay was a millionaire with a net worth of above $1.2 million. However, it is most likely, that she had accumulated around $100K as she did not receive much credit for her work as a technical consultant.

She had completed nursing school and moved to Los Angeles after some time in New Mexico. While in LA, she worked as a first-aid nurse at Universal Studios.

That real-world medical experience in Hollywood led to production work behind the scenes and she soon got a job as a medical consultant. Furthermore, she also had stage-acting experience.
