Ludwig Ahgren has been expressing his constant disappointment over the cancellation of Smash World Tour 2023, post the decision given by Nintendo. As someone who has himself hosted Smash tournaments, the streamer is able to empathize with the people affected by this abrupt decision.

Therefore, he decided to bring a positive change by offering the tickets of his upcoming event- Mogul Chessboxing Championship for just $1. The original price of the tickets varied between $60 to up to $760, but they were significantly brought down so that more people are able to attend the live event that takes place at the Galen Centre of Los Angeles.

The streamer however decided to set a time limit for which the tickets will be given away at a low price. Interested attendees were given the time till 5 PM PT to purchase the tickets from the concerned website. While Ludwig was certain to go ahead with his decision, he hilariously made a remark, “I don’t go bankrupt lol”.

Users were able to purchase the tickets from a special redeem code, ‘1DOLLAR‘. The YouTuber informed 15 minutes before the time kept was running out, that “we’ve sold $100,000 of tickets for $2000”. Considering the hype revolving around his event, it is hardly a surprise that so many tickets were sold out within a limited time.

Fans react to Ludwig’s announcement

Several fans were elated to see the move taken by the content creator but others were disappointed of not being able to avail the offer since they don’t reside in LA.

Dude I'm so tempted but there's still $800 to pay in just flights and a hotel room not including food or ubers.

I think me and my bf are just going to watch it online. LA friends should def go for this price though!!!!
